Westfield Derby boasts the UK's first Cinema de Lux.
Westfield Derby’s new 12-screen Cinema de Lux, featuring great films, late show times and delicious dining options, is now open!
Opera:
You can now enjoy performances from The Glyndebourne Opera, presented in high definition.
December's festive offer is 'La Cenerentola' (Cinderella) on Sunday 7 and Tuesday 9 December.
The performances will be at 2pm and 7pm on each date and tickets are £12.50. Register for more information on the opera.
Facilities:
The cinema offers a wealth of fantastic facilities including two intimate Directors Halls, featuring Ultra Leather loveseats. Guests may order food and drinks in the Directors Lounge to take with them into the Directors Halls.

Tuesday: 10am – 1am
Wednesday: 10am – 1am
Thursday: 10am – 1am
Friday: 10am – 3am
Saturday: 10am – 3am

How to get to the cinema:
The entrances to the cinema for pedestrians:
- After 7pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday
- After 9pm Thursday and Friday
Are:
- Albion Street (until the start time of the last performance)
- Burrows Walk
- From Riverside Car Park foyer.
Pedestrian access to the cinema is via Level 3. From Level 1, use the escalators beside Eatons or Gloria Jean’s Coffees to Level 2 and then the escalators beside G Star, near Eat Central, up to Level 3 to the cinema entrance.
Lift access from Level 1 is located beside Gloria Jean’s Coffees, then from Level 2 up to Level 3, there is a lift located between The Perfume Shop and Ministry.
For the easiest car park access, use Centre Car Park – car park opening times.
You can access the cinema from Level 3 of Centre Car Park only – please follow the signs in the car park indicating Cinema de Lux.
Car parking is only £1.50 after 6pm.
